About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn about cultures and getting to know new places and people.

ABOUT ME

I am a very sportive person. I tend to feel really uncomfortable if I am just laying down or feeling lazy. I mean, I can do it, but it is very important to me to practice some sports. I really enjoy running and I take part in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team.
I am Brazilian, but half Portuguese, and I live with my Portuguese family, so you can recognize me as a Brazilian with some Portuguese influences :P
All in all, I am just a very humorous and proactive person. Something that pretty much describes my behavior is my urge to understand things. I can't just get to know something if I don't have the "Why", "Why for?". It goes from knowing my graduation area to understanding people's mind and behavior.

PHILOSOPHY

"A smooth sea have never made a skilled sailor"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never hosted a couchsurfer myself but I got to know that project in my close friends house. I found it good as an experience for either the host and the couchsurfer himself.

Interests

I am interested in sports (Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Hiking, Surfing...), Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, psychology, travelling, practicing my english...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Spider Man (all of them) :)
Music: Bon Jovi, Scorpions, The Beatles and some sorts of Brazilian Music, such as Sertanejo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my graduation studies I took part in a motivational project, known as BAJA SAE, in which I had the chance to step out of Mechanical Engineering theory, focused on designing and building a vehicle prototype aiming to compete with other universities projects on a national scale.
Actually projecting a vehicle and being able to see that project become reality is really satisfying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe everything is learning and teaching. If you ask me what my skills are, the things I can actually teach you, I'd say something related to Mechanical Engineering, Jiu Jitsu and reading body language... But I believe I have some values and virtues that can be shared.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
