ABOUT ME

I am almost 25 and new to the world of travelers. I can't wait to start my journey and I am so happy to come across communities such as this, offering an opportunity to meet new people with similar interests all over the world! I am easy going, hard working, independent and fun loving. Like I said before, this is all very new to me and I am looking for any sort of advice, help, and contact that I can find. Specifically looking for contacts in Barcelona, Spain because that is where I will be headed.

PHILOSOPHY

"The only constant in life is constant change." I accept the challenges of my life as something to build and grow upon constantly reminding myself to stay aware of the intricate scope of lives intertwined. I hope to eventually help others in some way! I am a people watcher, an absolute observer of all things. I am constantly changing my mind of ideas I once had. Realizing as I age and as I experience, that nothing is ever really as it seems.
Selfishness is unavoidable, I am a hedonist, a pleasure seeker but I do not avoid the big picture and I try to live my life accordingly. OVER-Consumption is a disgusting way of life. I am trying to free myself from it, and I know the only way to do so is to be in a place (not speaking of location) where comfort doesn't come from the amount that you live off of, but how you live off of what you have. So much can be spared and this is a message I hope to convey and live by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to travel (much) and couch surf. I will be ending my lease in November to prepare for my departure, but I will couch surf (with friends) locally until I am ready to leave.

Interests

Dancing, reading, learning, traveling, swimming, nature, food (vegetarian), people, culture, meeting new friends, good times, music- folk, electro, rock, hip hop, anything to groove to, classical, etc. physical activity! These are a few of my generalized interests. I am basically interested.. in everything. I want to know a little bit about a lot of things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love this. I want to learn so much.. to knit and sew, garden, basic building and wood working skills, etc. Hopefully one day I will have something that I could teach..
