Always curious about other cultures, nations, and traditions. I have huge respect also for those that I don't have frequent contact or simply don't know plenty. I'm convinced that sharing experiences and insights are incredibly enriching and help us better understand each other and couchsurfing is a great way to do that.

Before you send me a request to stay in my place, try to at least to find some similarities and common interests between us.

The purpose of Couchsurfing is to provide exchange of experiences, so it makes no sense if I get a message saying that you wanna stay because "I'm traveling through Europe", "I'd love to visit Berlin", "you have good references" or if you just wanna save money. Requests like this are generic and sound like you haven’t read my profile. But if you’re reading this far and you’re willing to see the best street art in Berlin, it’s already a good sign for you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, CS is an opportunity to make new friends, reach places beyond some pocket guides or tourist traps spending more money for less fun.

If I host you, I’m willing to be your eyes in Berlin, showing you my favorite places, museums, neighborhoods, bars, parks and hidden places. Nightclub until the next day or cooking at home with wine? It’s up to you!

If you send me an invitation I will certainly be grateful to know that you are an interesting person and that you would give the best CS experience.

Random real story:

Once, when I was a kid, I've tried to keep ants as my pet, so I stole some sugar from the kitchen and put in my metal pencil box with comfy soft bed, because I wanted to give my pets a very comfy life and protect them from outside the world, but I was worry they wouldn't get air if I try to keep them in a box, so I used my little scissors to make some holes. The perfect environment, I thought.

The next day, when I woke up, they were gone without taking away any food (sugar).

Yes, this is a true story and it was my first experience to understand how relations work. At that moment I didn’t get what happened, but now I can say that I’ve learned about empathy, ownership, care, freedom, desires... We shouldn’t treat others as we’d like to be treated. We can just treat others as they want to be treated. I’m always thinking about it.
