Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and write about the people in it.
ABOUT ME
Always the most difficult subject to write about! I think maybe I'll write some lists.
Likes: travelling, meeting new people, exploring different cultures, my family and friends, my god-daughters, drinking coffee in beautiful cities, drinking beer in beautiful cities, cycling, trekking, talking, art galleries, nightclubs, music, people who make me laugh, silence, walking, cooking, staying out all night...
Dislikes: things staying the same, intolerance, bedbugs, bad food, beach resorts, Hollywood movies, fish, skinny jeans, hangovers, people who don't listen, pollution...
PHILOSOPHY
Work out who you are and don't be afraid to be that person. Don't stop learning until the day you die. Treat everyone with respect, but realise that there are some people you just can't reach. Never talk religion or politics with friends. Don't be afraid of love, even if it's difficult. It's the most important thing there is.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies = anything arthouse, especially Almodovar
Music = anything but country
Books = anything good
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Nepal, my friend and I pitched our tent in a valley that was three days' trek from the nearest road and ten miles from the border with Tibet. I've never been so far from civilisation in my life and I've never experienced silence and darkness like it. It was amazingly beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
What can I share? I guess it's knowledge about places and people: where I live and where I've been.
