ABOUT ME

I'm a regular guy. Really open minded and I guess I'm friendly but that's not mine to say...
I live in Torino, a beautiful city in Italy, although I'm originally from Caracas, Venezuela... I've been living here for the last year and a half, and I really love this city. I work as a software developer in a Telecommunication company.
I love sports, I play calcetto (small soccer 5v5) almost every week-end and I workout doing acrobatics and pilates, so I'm pretty busy with the sports.
I enjoy so much taking pictures (here's my blog: http://daniosoriov.blogspot.com/) and traveling, so mixing them is like the best combination ever... I love to travel a lot, and since there's a million opportunities here in Europe, I try to travel at least once every month wherever I can afford.
I'm a naturalist, so I respect nature and all that comprehends it. Back home in Venezuela my mother has 5 dogs, so I'm really affectioned to dogs in general.
I like meeting new people from all over, with different cultures and experiences to share.
Another thing I love is music, it's just so amazing, I like every type of music but specially Indie-Rock and Alternative Rock... I wish Torino had as many gigs as London or NY... but what the heck, when bands come, I don't loose the chance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love this concept, it has always been a great experience and although I have never hosted, I've always met great people while surfing or meeting people to hangout.

Interests

Sports, specially soccer and acrobatics... Music! Photography which is my major hobby. Animals and nature... I love the beach, I wish Italy had the climate Venezuela has...
I LOVE to travel and meet new places and people... I love drawing although I'm not doing it so much lately... and well, a lot of other things too :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: So many movies, Star Wars saga, Almost every Tim Burton film, I like action films, zombies and vampires films. WWII films, even though it could be kinda sad to see them.

Living for 6 months in New York city
Being from Venezuela, which is an incredible place to see and visit.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn french any time soon...

I could teach spanish, maybe Italian and English I guess... I could teach some photography techniques and I'd like to learn new techniques by others!
