ABOUT ME

I am wandering through Europe with childlike wonder. My home base is Firenze where I study art history and I am doing my best to learn the beautiful language of this country. I feel more comfortable around trees then skyscrapers, I miss rivers I can swim in, I live for road trips with good music and good company, I try to capture this wonderful world we live in through my photography and I am a hopeless optimist for the most part. I love animals, frisbee, lipstick, sheep and succulents. I enjoy making things with my hands and love flea markets.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch that is mostly available. I live with 3 other roommates so we must all agree in order to let someone crash. We also travel a bit, but as long as we're here then its cool.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed a few times and have had the most amazing experiences. If it wasn't for my hosts my experience in their city would be so lame in comparison.
I have hosted more than crashed and I love hosting. I have had such great experiences meeting and hanging out with everyone.

Interests

Photography, art history, history, book binding, hiking, traveling, waterfalls, frisbee, coffee, reading, sitting in cafes, climbing trees, I love freshwater swimming, the ocean is wonderful but I am a bit scared of it, I love trains and car rides, I try to bike as much as possible...

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I am reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck and it is wonderful. The last 2 books I read were The Lone Ranger and Tonto fistfight in Heaven by Sherman Alexi and Just Kids by Patti Smith. I highly recommend all of them.
