I am originally from India and I have come to France to do my PhD. I am mostly calm, but I can also be a cheerful social butterfly, depending on my mood. You could call me a selective extroverted person!
Back in India, I used to do theatre and played the drums (a bit). Nowadays, my leisure activities include adjusting to the French weather and using Google translate. Hopefully, this will pass!
Oh and I LOVE board games; games in general.
Lastly, I really like witnessing the marvels of nature - hills, mountains, rivers, ocean, valleys - well you get the point.

About my couch - well i dont have any. I'm neither hosting nor looking for hosts at the moment. I'm interested to meet people and go to events only.

I'm new to this city - Lyon - and I'd like to meet local people here and learn about their culture, cuisine and interests.

Moreover, I've always dreamt of traveling all over the world but never really got a chance to do that so far. I found out about Couchsurfing while planning my first trip in Europe and am curious to know about this community, so, here I am!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: I think I am yet to discover beautiful music that I will definitely enjoy. So i keep listening to different genre of music whenever I can. Depending on my mood i choose from Instrumental, Indie Rock, Psychedelic. If I am in the mood to dance my heart out, anything upbeat works!

Books: Although, lately I haven't read many books, I like fiction (the clichèd Harry Potter fan), philosophy (the last one I read was The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak) and science-related books. I am currently reading Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman.

Movies: I like comedy, mystery, action and romantic movies. I think I just left horror genre! Well, I'd like to watch horror movies but I get shit scared later - so I avoid them most of the time 😜
