About Me
Gosh! Describing oneself is always a difficult thing to do.
I'm single, but I'm not alone.
I come from a small family.
I'm always looking for new enjoyable experiences. Very simple things can make me really happy.
I'm basically a sociable person who's always ready to meet new people in my little free time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because, as I said before, I'm always looking for new enjoyable experiences and meeting people is an exciting thing to try. I know I may not make close friends, but having contacts around the world is a good thing, isn't it?
Interests
I'm into sharing a good meal or just a nice glass of wine with my friends or my family or my significant other. I like going to the cinema or the theatre. I like the theatre better, though. I don't watch much tv. I have one set at home I hardly ever use. My nephew or nieces use it when they come home to visit me.
I like doing exercise, though I'm in a no-gym phase at the moment. :-O
I like animals. I discovered I'm a big dog fan not long ago. I have two of them, in fact. A fat beagle and a dog dog. Both female. They can be really funny.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like quiet music. My favourite singer is Annie Lennox. Just love her voice. I like instrumental a lot. As I don't listen to the radio I don't very much know what's on in the music world. I get to know about that from my pupils mostly. But I'm open to most sorts of music. All forms of art are interesting.
I go to the cinema quite often with friends. I have no particular interests over film genres.
Reading? I don't usually find the time to do so. I used to a lot, but now I seem not too into it. At the moment I'm reading some Agatha Christie and E. M. Forster books with my pupils. I quite enjoy reading short stories. Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected are, to me, the best.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling alone. I guess that was the most exciting thing I've ever done. You can feel so free it is comparable to nothing else. But I like travelling in company. Having shared anecdotes is great.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English for a living.
I like teaching in general. I enjoy sharing knowledge and acquiring it too. Through books, through people. Learning is fantastic and sharing the knowledge you get is much more rewarding.

I can share anything that's within my reach.
