About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Convince the world to have a Healthy Lifestyle =)

ABOUT ME

I'm easy going and get along with basically anyone. I love having long deep meaningful conversations just as much as I love joking around. I love to hang out with people and do all kind of new things. I believe that what matters the most is the people you are with, not the things you do with them. Fun always come with nice people!
To get a more accurate description of myself, I'd suggest you to make your own description by hanging out with me! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone has something to teach you and can make you a better person somehow.
Life is about discovering and living new experiences.
To find your way of living you must first learn about all those many different ways to live a life from people all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and get to know their view of life. I'm also willing to help people enjoy Montreal by showing them things to do or simply hanging out with them.

I started the Round the World Trip I've always dreamed of doing in August 2016. I'll be eternally grateful to anyone giving me any kind of help during my journey. Any information, advice, suggestions and especially a place to stay will be greatly appreciated. My main idea is: Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Romania), Egypt (any place related to Ancient Egypt), Sri Lanka, Nepal (Kopan monastery), Philippines, Indonesia (my mother's home country), Australia, New Zealand, South America (Chile, Colombia) and Central America (Costa Rica, Honduras).

I believe CouchSurfing is the best way to enjoy my trip since this community is filled with incredible people, and it is the best way to get to know the locals and especially to get to live like them! The goal of my trip is to experience all the different lifestyles there are in the world, to really understand what it's like to be a citizen of the world. I want to understand all the different mindsets and all the different cultures of this planet and I'm sure CouchSurfing will help me achieve that goal!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love piano songs (ex. Beethoven, Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi)
I love most kind of music but I must admit I've been mostly listening to EDM lately.

Books: 'Origin of Species' - Darwin
Currently reading 'Ending Aging' - Aubrey de Grey

Movies: I mostly like action movies ('The Raid' is a perfect example) but I also like documentaries and any movie that makes me learn something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Of course, the best trip I did in my entire life was a five-months-long Asia trip during elementary school! Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and my mom's home, Indonesia! So much beautiful cultures. I've seen so much during this trip. To see people living in so many different ways really opened my mind.

My 3 other trips to Indonesia were also amazing!

And Macchu Picchu was one of the most amazing site I've seen, especially from the top of Wayna Picchu!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing some of the knowledge I've acquired during my B. Sc in Biochemistry.
I can teach you how to do some great own body weight skills (human flag, hand stand push up, muscle up, etc.).
I can also try to teach you french or bahasa Indonesia.
I could try to teach you piano.
I can share you my philosophical thoughts and views and have open minded philosophical discussions.

I also love learning in general. All kind of stuff! I would learn all there is to learn if I would be immortal and eternal! Some of the best things to learn are the ones you wouldn't even think about!

A few things I'd like to learn:
-Any local recipes
-Any musical instruments
-Any style of dancing (not a single experience in that category!)
-Any martial arts (that's something i would love to learn!)
-Anything unique you would have to teach me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I guess most of the things listed in "Teach, Learn, Share" would fit in that category.
I can share my knowledge of science, french, bahasa indonesia, my travel stories, basic skills in piano, own body-weight training, my view on a healthy lifestyle, etc.

I can give my host a hand for any housework or agricultural work, or anything that would make my host want to keep me as a guest forever! (Sorry, I won't actually stay forever, there's too much to see in this world!) Feel free to ask; I'd be happy to make you love hosting and to make your life easier and more exciting while having me as a guest! ;P
