About Me

I am currently doing an EVS (European Voluntary Service) in Italy. It is a unique opportunity to get to live in a country you are not from of and get to learn it's language and culture, work travel a lot and experience as much as possible. I think people are the most interesting beings in the world, and the more I meet the better (The same goes for cultures in general). I'm very open and friendly, and I always do my best to be as understanding as I can manage. Positivity and optimism are my two most noticeable traits, as physically evidenced by the colorfulness of my home and most of my possessions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very interested in traveling, seeing new places and meeting new people.

Interests

Debate - I've been a competitive debater for 3 years now, and I'm confident that stepping into this field of activity was one of the best decisions in my life. Debate has allowed me to travel frequently and learn practically all I know now. I also love the social aspect of it.
Cycling - I started riding my bike when I was four and I haven't stopped since. Lately though, I've been more active. I try to ride my bike wherever I go.
Photography - capturing experiences is a great way of keeping memories alive. I realised that a long time ago and that motivated me to start taking photos of everything I find even remotely interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to whatever catches my ear and varies from time to time. Some examples of artists whose songs are part of my playlist are Nickelback and Evanescence. Sometimes I happen to be in the mood for classical music.
Books - Marley and me, Da Vinci's code, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Thanks for the memories; mostly mysteries and fantasy
Movies - Schindler's list, Book thief, Imitation game, Wall-e, Grand Budapest hotel... (this could be long)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Applying my first aid skills I helped a cyclist who badly cut himself, so he could manege to get to the ER.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge of cake making, teach someone first aid and serbian language (if anyone is interested)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very organised and neat, therefore I believe there wouldn't be any problem with me as a resident. But, above all, I would focus on my positivity and air of good mood.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Serbia
