ABOUT ME

I am working in Paris at the moment for a period of 6 months, and I want to meet new people and experience a different lifestyle then my own.

I always love a good party, especially if good food and wine is involved. I love to cook or learn new dishes and food cultures so i am always interested in sharing a meal with someone while i am out traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, i do not have a sofa or an extra bed so i am only participating in events and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Paris i have met several people and had many great nights.

To mention some good moments:
Meeting my good friend Benoit in a bar and discovering that we have more or less the exact same music taste while he showing me some nice local bars in hidden alleys.

Going on a spontaneous road trip to Normandy to discover the reggae roots of France.

Picnic under a bridge in Paris, watching all the boats float by in the silence of the night.

Interests

Interested in new experiences. In other words, I am interested in things i am not interested in....

I am also very interested in learning about the places i visit so i always appreciate to meet the locals and learn some about the history of the place i am (both modern and older history)

Some of my favourite music: Arctic Monkeys, Libertines, Babyshamble, National, Band of Horses, The Killers, Thomas Dybdahl, Kings of Convenience, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Bright Eyes, Ratatat, Daft Punk, Jay-z, Talib Kweli, Kanye West, Big Boi, Nas, and some Bossa Nova for sleepy Sundays......

Some books and authors i like: Q&A, The Perfume, Tom Clancy (my guilty pleasure), John Grisham, Dirk Pitt novels, and some Norwegian authors like Lars Saabye Christensen, Erlend Loe, the list goes on......
