All about me?

I'm travelling to the states between October and January with my best mate Simon (who doesn't yet have a CouchSurfing account)

We're both very similar - friendly, up for anything and looking to meet some great people.

We both work on the river in Cambridge - one of the biggest tourist attractions in the town (so yes, if you come here we can take you out punting...) If you've never heard of punting before then have a a quick look...

I love spontaneous nights, cooking good food, drinking in the sun, lying around on boats, good people and live music - I love travelling and pretending to everyone that one day I will do something sensible with my life.

I can't really vouch for Simon but I'm sure he'd agree - except he's an actor so IS doing something sensible with his life... well...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled across South America the year before last, stayed on a few couches and met some cool people - I have returned the favor a few times since I've been back in the UK (when I had a bigger place) and soon I'm heading to the states for a few months with my best mate Simon. Hopefully there's some nice Yanks out there willing to put us up...

Having played in a band for years I have slept on many couches, floors, balconies, vans and bathtubs all across the UK...

兴趣

I'm a big fan of live music and looking to head to some good bars in NY, get some ska and some jazz whilst we're there. Hopefully heading down through the south to New Orleans and find some blues.

Simon and I both work on the boats and we're both English so we like our beer and we're looking for some good days out and getting to know some new people.

We're looking to get to know the real people and the real America. Also, hopefully, in L.A. we're looking to meet some fake people and around Christmas we're looking to find the tackiest place in America to stay (inflatable Santa's et al) - suggestions welcome.
