CURRENT MISSION being happy ABOUT ME Swedish guy, been working as a highschool teacher teaching English, German and French. Two big interests are traveling and meditation. I currently live in Abashiri on the northern Japanese island Hokkaido, where my wife Yukiko is from. The idea is to try and find work as an English teacher. Our son Kai who is 2 years old is also with us. I am a calm, easy-going person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I started surfing some years ago and I found it to be a very good thing. I hosted quite a lot of people when I was living alone and now I am interested to see if I can work it into my life as a family man as well.

Movies: Anything, from Kurosawa to Kusturica.
Music: Swedish rapper Timbuktu has sort of been with me for a long time.
Books: I read a lot of German and French books to practice. To a deserted island I would bring Kafka, Camus, Mann and probably some Buddhist books.

I guess that meditation is something I can share information about, even though I am in no way qualified to teach it. I have spent a lot of time meditating and doing volunteer work to arrange courses.
