Outdoorsy, silly, and soulful. I enjoy meditation, creating art, dancing, bicycling, hiking, playing sports (and games of all kinds!), running, and genuine connection with other humans. For the past few years, I have worked as an activity director for various assisted living communities for the elderly. i'm single, have no kids or pets, and don't drink, smoke, or do any drugs. I'm vaccinated and boosted and am quite vigilant about social distancing and mask-wearing and whatnot.

I've decided to quit my job and travel for as long as I can before returning to a more 'traditional' lifestyle. I am looking for places to crash and people to connect with along my journey. I don't want to simply take - so I would also like to offer up my apartment to travelers for the next few months (June, July, August, and September 2022) before I put all my possessions in storage and hit the road.

I started my own business in senior entertainment (with specific attention to folks with dementia) and traveled to assisted living communities and nursing homes with a performance/game show that mixed song, dance, and a lot of theatricality and clowning. Then COVID happened. I'd like to return to it at some point as a part-time gig. It's important to me to infuse joy into my professional work.

I think I can teach English to Spanish speakers. I love to learn about grassroots movements for transformative change and can share my experience and perspective as a participant and organizer in the US. I also love to learn about various spiritual practices.

I'm good at following direction. I cannot build or fix anything, but I have a sturdy body that can help with gardening or landscaping or chores around the house. I'm also great with kids and fantastic with folks with dementia. I'm endlessly inquisitive and provide great company.
