Dan is an electrical engineer by training. He's lived in Shanghai China, Vancouver Canada, Texas USA, and Colorado USA. He's ridden his bike from Texas to Alaska to raise money for cancer research (www.texas4000.org). And he is passionate about sustainable technologies, transportation, tech gadgets, and of course, bicycles.

Kiri is schooled in costume design and textile science. She was born in Seoul, South Korea and has lived in Minnesota USA, Vermont USA, and Colorado USA. She is passionate about gardening, cooking, functional textiles, documentaries, podcasts, outdoor recreation, and fresh fruit & vegetables!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When we are home (Fort Collins, CO) we enjoy hosting visitors. But for the next 1-2 years we are traveling via bikes and look forward to visiting new places and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although we are fully prepared with camping and cooking equipment, the generosity of perfect strangers is what is truly propelling this trip.
