I'm a mild mannered computer dork during the day and a bit of a partier at night. I tend to fit the old cliche, work hard, play harder! I'm a recreational abuser of the adrenaline gland, surfing, snowboarding, kayaking, but you most likely won't find me doing of the really crazy stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've know of couch surfers for a few years and always tell people that I know are traveling about it. I had been hosting for a few months in my apartment building building, and had some complaints so had to stop, but still enjoy meeting others travelers.

Interests

I like to stay active. Urban hiking has been my main thing lately, but I like surfing, snowboarding, kayaking, scuba. Recently tried to pick up rock climbing, but never really got into it. I also enjoy playing guitar and going to see live music. I'd like to learn to dance a little better - I've taken a total of 1 salsa class. Other random interests would be psychology, economics, politics

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I enjoy most action/thriller/comedy movies. Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Super Troopers, Beer Fest, Memento
Music: Most everything, but particularly classic rock. Getting more into bluegrass.
Books: Recently went on a Henry Miller splurge. Also like Bukowski.

Teach: Anything computers, guitar (intermediate), surfing, snowboarding
Learn: Languages - Need to learn French at the moment, dancing - tango and salsa
