ABOUT ME

Travelling scientist, student of the physical world, spontaneous wanderer. I have big ideas that I want to use to stir up people's daily lives, challenge their preconceptions, and broaden both of our perspectives in the process.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CS.org, but I have several life companions that have had tremendous experiences with it while travelling, and I would like to do the same. As for informal couch surfing, most of my experience is with building households from groups of strangers brought together with Craigslist posts. I have been living happily (and productively) in groups of 5-7 adult individuals for the past 7 years.

Interests

Outdoor adventure in every form: hiking, exploring, kayaking, swimming, climbing, SCUBA, motorcycling, camping, and am ready to try something new. My favorite activities involve water.

When not outdoors I spend my time inventing, engineering devices, building kinetic sculptures, thinking about the universe, questioning cultural norms, reading, learning español, and generally pursuing personal growth for myself and those around me.
