I'm a philosophy PhD student from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. I've been living in the US for six years now, and I plan to continue to live here for a few more at least until I finish my studies.

I am also an amateur photographer (urbex and street photography), and I love to cook!

When I was in Chicago, I really enjoyed being able to host and share experiences with people from all over! Haven't been a guest anywhere yet, but I'm looking forward to start surfing some couches some time soon :)

When it comes to books and movies, I'm quite into the Cohen Brothers, Machado de Assis, Kurt Vonnegut, Cormac McCarthy and Neil Gaiman. Existential dread with a touch (sometimes more than a touch) of humor, and myth.
