Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After not traveling for some time while finishing my degree and getting a real grown up job, I need to get back out there and met new people and rediscover how great the rest of the world is. I am looking forward to welcoming new friends and start traveling the world again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed all over the US eastcoast - It was a blast!
Interests
I love skiing and even when I crash bad on the slops I would rather be doing that than just about anything else.
- traveling
- skiing
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: When I was 19 I woke up one day and was in love with Linkin Park. I can't explain how it happened as I never really listened to their music. But from that on I was hooked.
Movies: I like pretty much everything. But to mention a few: The Boondock Saints, American History X,The Lord of The Rings, Whiplash, The Departed, Alien, Sinister, Fightclub..
Books:
The Lord of The Rings (hands down the best books ever written)
Pride and Prejudices ( as I am female)
A Song of Ice and Fire (I am pretty sure Jon Snow knows a thing or two)
To Kill a Mockingbird (as I am human)
Misery (Stephen King) (That woman is creepy as F¤%ck)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When me and my friend Lisa lived in the US we accumulated a lot of stuff before going home. We did not feel like paying for all our humongous bags, so we hoped for the best and brought it all to the airport. Long story short, I can make sad eyes and Lisa can cry on demand, and we got more that 100 kg of extra luggage on the airplane for free. You all know how strict the people at the chech-in counter can be; I consider it the biggest accomplisment of my life!
Oh, and working at the Danish embasy in Bangladesh trying to secure clean water for the bangladeshi people was also kind of great...
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot a not very marketable skills that I can pass on.
- I am pretty great a comming up with questionable slogans for just about everything
-I can fit my whole fist in my mouth
-I know tons of 90'ties songs lyrics
- I can name all 50 US states
