About Me

I am a 20 year old female solo-traveller and storyteller from multi-cultural Canada. I have a curious mind, a wandering soul, and a love for all things ‘life’.

My lifelong dream that I chase in each and every day is the pursuit of knowledge and discovery. I live this dream every day by picking up my backpack and trekking beyond what is known and comfortable to me.

All I have wanted to do in this life of mine is make a positive change in the lives of all organisms: big or small, plant or animal, personal and/or global. I live by this code by connecting, understanding, helping, and sharing with all those that live upon this planet. I want to see ‘life’ take shape from all sorts of perspectives; what I must do now in order to see it, is walk forward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used this site on many occasions and in all those occasions, there has never been a moment where I have been disappointed. When you live with locals who kindly offer to host you for a night or two, it tends to be such a meaningful and rewarding experience. That is why I use this site: as a tool to meet and connect with those from all corners of the earth. A moment where I can see through their eyes, and share in their perspective. I truly believe that everyone and everything has a lesson to learn, a story to share, and a place to to call home. It would be such a privilege to live as you live for a day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my life. I will listen to about anything that will move me on a deep emotional level. I listen to a variety of musical genres that most predominantly include progressive rock, folk, phycadelic rock, blues, liquid drum and bass, acid jazz, retro soul.

Books: The Orenda, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Help, The Book Thief.
Movies: Travel, environmental, political, social documentaries or dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my comfortable and predictable life in Canada when I was 18 years old in order to live out the rest of my life doing what I absolutely love: travelling and connecting with nature and people.

I am an unconventional individual, but an individual none the less. I follow my heart. I follow the force of nature. I don’t hesitate to wander through unknown territory. I have faith in humanity.

I’ve hitchhiked all the way through Asia relying entirely on the kindness of others. Sleeping outside or in the homes of locals, I exist naturally and freely on this planet. Earth is my home and we are all family.

Trekked through the Himalayas conquering Thorong La (a peak of 5413m).

Currently travelling in a van across Eastern-Europe/Balkans.
