Future February Europe Trip
Leaving cold England for and heading to even colder Berlin to start my Europe trip. There I will meet up with my Canadian girl Chelan, and we will continue through Europe, visiting Czechia, Hungary, Croatia, Italy and finishing in sunny Spain, where we'll meet another friend Lucy.

About me
I'd describe myself as a laid back positive person who loves to meet new people and explore new places!
I have a massive interest in electronics and love how its creative yet mathematical and logical. Electrical and electronic engineering is a my dream career and something that I'm keen to learn more about, although for the next year or two I can see myself travelling more

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I'm traveling I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people, people that you wouldn't normally meet while staying in hostels. I also think it's a really cool way to get to know a city, town or area that your staying in

When I return home I hope that hosting couchsurfers will mean I still get to meet lots of new people who are travelling and that in turn will make it easier to return to the reality of not travelling long term

Interests

Cycling!! I can't describe how much I love cycling, I got into it after agreeing to cycle to Paris and have since been hooked. Hope to do more cycle trips, maybe to Belgium or South of France.

I enjoy yoga and meditating, although do not practise them often enough!

I watch a ton of documentaries and love it when conversations get deep

I love most things outdoorsie, grew up in the country side so I'm my happiest when hiking or just spending the day outside

Going to the beach, if that even counts as an interest! There's nothing I love more than jumping in the ocean. I'm not a very strong swimmer but after living in Australia for a year and a half my appreciation for the ocean grew massively.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of music depends on the mood, my iPod ranges from classical, to hip hop and rap, to indie rock, drum and base, acoustic, tech house, and even some hard core rock. Such a weird variety and only just realised it now I'm thinking about it!

I'm not really the biggest movie person, I get bored pretty easy! Tend to just watch documentaries or just have cartoons (rick and morty, adventure time mostly) on in the back ground while I'm doing something. If it's the right movie I'll definitely be able to get into it though and I'm always up to watch something new. Some of my favourites:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say what makes something amazing but for me one of thing that stands out is canyoning in the Blue Mountains. When I first arrived in the Blue Mountains I was lucky enough meet a group heading canyoning for a couple of days and jumped at the chance to go with them. Was an incredible and completely unexpected experience
