ABOUT ME

I'm really laid back and easy to get along with but also totally respectful and selfless, which I think is a great mix for this kind of thing...
I'm in to films. Good ones, not the cheesy run-of-the-mill Hollywood jobs. I also love most music. I grew up listening to metal (two older brothers) but I love all kinds from folk to indie, classical to 80s rock. I'm trying to get more into reading now I'm writing. I've always loved writing and hope to make a living out of it someday soon.
I can pretty much talk about anything to anyone and I'm super honest. So if I'm blunt don't take it the wrong way, it's in my nature! I love meeting new people and I have quite a taste for good, full bodied beer, so both seem to fit together quite nicely. Most importantly I have a sense of humour!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to this...my friend tried it out in Canada and raved about it so I thought I should jump on the bandwagon. I've been meaning to do it ever since I first went travelling in 2005 and heard about this amazing facility. Brilliant idea! I'm also strapped for cash a lot lately and travelling alone, so this seems like a great way to save money and meet locals. If it all goes well I'll be sure to participate by offering my couch when I get back home to Australia-whenever that may be :)
