Hi, my name is Constanza. I'm 28 years old. I'm an English teacher, I have worked mainly at a middle school and teach from pre-school to the eighth grade. I live with my mom in a small town just outside Temuco.

I like to read, walk and watch movies. I also like tattoos, I have eight so far, not very big ones, they're mostly smallish ones. I enjoy eating, although, I don't really cook, that is something I'm working on though, slowly, but I'm getting there. I don't particularly like getting up super early, I'm a bit of a night owl, but I do it.

I am planning a year-long trip around the world. I've really just been saving money to go places and meet people and expand my horizons for as long as can, basically, for as long as I can afford it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am starting soon on a hopefully long, long travel that will be partly on my own and I could really use the company and experience of other travellers. I've never gone on a long trip before, and I've also never done one (even a short one) by myself.

I think that the experiences and the stories of other people will make a major contribution to my own, seeing as I, for the most part, don't have any and the people I know don't travel that much or for too long. I have very little to go on, but I really want to do this for myself and eventually, by myself.

I don't have a timetable to follow, I want to spend however long I want to at any place and really take the most out of this opportunity to visit and learn about so many places and people. Also, it seems like an amazing way to meet new people and try different things that are probably not on any travel guide of the city.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite books are mainly novels and particularly Stephen King. I listen to pop, romantic and old rock and roll. Also, lately I've come to listen to reggaeton, I usually only did that when dancing, but I can escape it, it's everywhere. And, movies... I love Gone with the wind and I live so many more from some many different genders. I guess I'll say I don't like gore, I've seen a couple and do not like them.
