About Me

I am just a young outgoing spirit trying to find her way in the world. I'm an Australian girl with Greek and Dutch heritage and my 5 year plan consists of graduating from my dual degree, travelling the world and making a lifetime of memories, and working my way into my dream job.

I am currently living in Canada on a 6 month student exchange and I plan to travel through Europe, Africa and the US, until returning to Australia to complete my studies. The travel bug has hit me hard and I'm very excited to meet as many amazing international people and learn as much as I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here simply for the experience. The opportunity to experience each and every city and culture through the perspective of a local is one I can't pass up. This platform allows anyone to expand their knowledge and experiences through other like-minded people, and that's what I'm all about.

Music, Movies, and Books

The lists are endless.

Music: I generally enjoy all genres of music, with the excepts of country and improvised jazz. My head is filled with more song lyrics and I can almost guarantee if you play a song I'll know at least half of the lyrics.

Movies: I'm a big fan of action and adventure, the classics and the occasional rom-com. I won't go near any horror films though. My favourites include Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Holiday, Spirit (a childhood favourite), Guardians of the Galaxy and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Books: My all time favourites are The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Messenger, The Book Thief and Attachments.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would consider my move across the world an amazing thing. For someone who has only travelled internationally once before, and has never seen snow or known cold like a Canadian winter, I'm quite proud of the things I've achieved so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to teach English to anyone willing to learn (and of course accompanied by typical Australian slang)

I want to learn as much as I can from everyone I meet along my journeys. Every person has something to teach, learn and share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am able to share my life experiences, my amazing cooking skills (thanks mum!), my time, and my joy for all that life and this Earth has to offer us.
