Hello we are Danny and Amy.
We found our love for traveling two years ago. We decided to pack up and head out on an adventure to learn about different cultures and the way of life from people all around the world. So far our adventure has taken us to Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, India, japan and South Korea and Taiwan. We have volunteered in many different country’s in Asia doing all kinds of different work gaining new experiences, memories and friends.

Back home in England I (Amy) am a manager of a recruitment company, I deal with Payroll, client contracts and interviewing which means I work mainly with computers and people. I have a love of reading and writing, I studied English literature at college.

In England Danny works for the National Health Service (NHS) as an emergency care assistant for the ambulance service. He is a lover of nature and would quite happily live on the top of a mountain.

Together we love all animals, we enjoy listening to music, reading, watching movies, going out and trying new food. I (Danny) really like my extreme sports such as rock climbing, snowboarding and mountain biking. Together we both enjoy walking and camping and been outdoors.

We have a dream to see and experience as much of the world as we can whether it be a bustling city, quiet remote village or a place no traveler has ventured before.

We found out about Couchsurfing off some friends we met while volunteering in India, they explained to us how good the app was and that we could meet all kinds of amazing people.
Our host accepted many backpackers to his home and we met so many wonderful people from all over the globe with adventurous story’s and information about there home country’s.

We have seen that Couchsurfing brings people together and offers new amazing experiences, now that we have started our new adventure we want to try it out ourselfs.

We both enjoy all kinds of music but mainly listen to rock and roll. We like western movies such as drama, action and comadi. Amy loves to read and most the time has a book in her hand while I’ll be staring into guide books or maps planning new places to visit.
