About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help other travellers enjoy this beautiful city.

ABOUT ME

University was when the travelling bug bit me.
New experiences and adventures. For the first time I was able to travel on my own and I got to learn so much about the world.

I left my beloved home land of Ireland in 2014 And moved to London to work as a Diagnostic Radiographer (X-ray dude)

Since then I tried to travel as best I could whilst still living the 9-5 lifestyle.

Eventually enough was enough, I quit my well paid job sold all my crap and set off travelling Europe and South-East Asia. I then ran outta money (god damn buckets were too tempting!) and I have now settled in Chiang Mai Thailand to teach English and recuperate some money before I set off again!

I've hosted some amazing people on CS while living in London. And I stayed with some amazing hosts during my travels. And now I am ready to start accepting guests to my small flat in Chiang Mai. Feel free to ask for my number and/or Facebook for more details.

I'm very easygoing, I always have a smile on my face and love a good laugh.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling and meeting new people...that's the ultimate goal for most travellers.

Peace and love

Interests

Im interested in anything that involves having a laugh and good time with others.

Admittedly im most happy when im in good company with some alcohol thrown into the mix, if this happens to be in a new exciting place even better!

I also love music, in particular Irish folk.

I also love to set time aside to relax whether its reading, having a coffee or my new favourite is a bit :-)

Whatever your into ill have a go as long as we all do it with a smile!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music as i said is definately a major part of my daily life. Love my Irish music to remind me of home! Favourite singer of all time is definately Frank Sinatra and modern stuff i love everything from deep house to chilled acoustic!

Movies...definately favourite movie is Forrest Gump, stupid and happy..thats the dream.

For Books ill read anything thats recommended but my favourite authors at the moment are George Orwell, Harper Lee, C Dickins.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working for a summer in an orphanage in Malawi Africa was probably the best thing ive done for my soul. Taught me alot about myself, about what is important and also how to treat people.
The africans were definately my best hosts to date, i slept on their floor and shared their tiny meals and couldnt have been happier!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a 25 year old I dont know what life wisdom I have to share...but I do know that kindess and a smile makes life better!

What I Can Share with Hosts

How to drink whiskey and beer like an Irishman! I can teach you some nice Irish music.

Also I can take X-rays if anyone if wondering where they put all their travel money.
