About Me

I grew up in Italy but I have been living in different countries for the past 5 years.
I'm very social and talkative, I enjoy being surrounded by people and share experiences and learn new things from different perspectives. I'm fairly active (some might say instead of walking I tend to bounce around and bump loudly into objects, but I make up for it spending hours as a potato couch when my favorite Tv series are on).
I love pets, but since my gypsy life doesn't allow me to commit to any, I often dog sit or volunteer at local shelters.
In the past few years, I lived and traveled in Australia, Europe and at the moment in Canada, but I consider my home the city of Amsterdam or at least the flat where I store 80% of the stuff that I collect while being around the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never used Couchsurfing before but heard a lot about it from many friends. I like the sense of community behind it and the fact that people keep in touch and organize events. I am currently in Canada for few months and I would love to go around as much as possible and meet people who share my same wanderlust, gain some special insight from locals and explore new places with fellow travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am one of those incoherent people who like any kind of music. I love chill/electronic music, but I am also a big fan of pop/clubbing music and anything that I can dance on like goa, trance, and EDM.
I used to read lots of Russian literature but I'm more into comics lately.
I love to watch Tv, there is not enough time in the world to follow all my favorite shows!
I still enjoy Disney movies a lot, who doesn't? Mulan, Dumbo, Robin Hood, Emperor's new groove are always rocking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say I have not done anything amazing yet, but I have a list of pretty epic moments I am proud of:
I managed to outdrink a Scottish man on a pub crawl.
I hiked an Icelandic volcano ( I also dropped my phone in a glacier on the same day).
I roamed around Malibù in a convertible Mustang.
I had monkeys stealing my earring in Indonesia.
I ate 16 slices of Dominos pizza in one sit.
