I am just an early 30's, 1/3 life crisis having, missing exploration kind of guy. I was raised a redneck and grew into a more of a maroon-ish neck as ive been a city boy for a lil while now. I realized a bit ago that I am not getting younger and need to stop and appreciate this wonderful planet.

I have toured most of the USA while playing music but had to stop and get "a real job" for a bit and I am itching to get back out on the road, one way or another.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The main reason that I am on couchsurfing is because I really want to travel but money has been tight as of late. Thinking about hotel room costs really will scare one away from living their life. I want to explore and not have to re mortgage my house to do it.

The second and just as important reason why I am on here is because I really do want to not only see and do fun things, but also to meet new and like minded people and also get a taste of their cultural realities and see how others live in environments different than my own. It's very fascinating to me.

兴趣

This is just to name a few. I have a lot of hobbies. Music is huge in my life and so that takes up a lot of it. If you are interested in something, chances are I am as well, or know just enough about it to ask questions and be willing to learn.

Ok, i will get to this later, waaay too many. But i will give my favorite genres for now.
Music: rock, metal, beatles (their own genre :p ) bands like CCR etc.
Movies: comedies on top. Documentaries and mockumentaries, dark comedies, satire, psychological movies.
Books:education, BIOs, history, music related. I am not a big fan of reading fiction.

Good and respecting conversation, stories of the ole days, I am not intrusive or nosey, I get along with almost anyone and can have intelligent conversations while drunk (without even getting mad). Also, like a mushroom, I am a fun guy!(get it? Fun guy, fungi... yeah, dad jokes too.)
