I'm a neurobio PhD student at UCSD researching how enriched environments can change the way memories are formed at the cellular level. I traveled a fair bit when I was younger, but am finding it harder and harder to get out... I like climbing, backpacking, swimming in the ocean, and I used to ski and white water kayak, when I lived in the not-desert.
