Overview
About Me
I like to think that I'm an outgoing optimist who enjoys great company and conversation. I love a good adventure and learning a couple of things while I'm at it! I'd say that I'm a more of a "go with the flow" kinda guy that knows how to roll with the punches that come with an adventure, yet I know to keep my eyes on why I started the adventure in the first place. I realize how little I know of the cultures within the world we live in, yet I look forward to genuinely getting to know them. Little by little.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To experience a city from not only a native's eyes, but the eyes of a traveller in their home gives a true authenticity to a vacation. I prefer to broaden my world view with in depth experience, not just "see" a few landmarks and say "I did it, now I'm done". The world holds so much wonder and beuty to fill a lifetime of happiness, and I plan to get my life's worth while giving back what I can to those I meet.
Interests
I enjoy: Salsa Dancing, Hiking, SCUBA Diving, Biking, Riding my motorcycle, Skating, Snowboarding, cooking, learning new tricks... but above all, just living.

Music, Movies, and Books
Directors that come to mind: Quentin Terentino, Guillermo Del Toro and Miyazaki!
Musicians: Tame Impala, Daft Punk, Milky Chance, Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes are a few artist that popped up. I also love anything I can dance to such as Salsa! (If my picture wasn't overwhelming enough!)
Books: I enjoy a book that I can learn something from... Which doesn't narrow too much down hahaha. I'm open to recommendations as I'm always looking to add more to my "library of good intentions." - which is a collection of books I've collected from classes or personal recommendations. (The Pearl, Ulysess, Rebelion of the Masses, The Sun Also Rises/ Fiesta are all on there)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The decision to study abroad in a country where I know nobody and know only a enough of the language to get by has been quite an amazing experience so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would consider myself as a student of life. I'm just starting out to get to know this grand world we live in. The best I can offer is my genuine company. Company meaning that I will make the best of the situation at hand.
I am beginning to realize how much of a big effect language has on our lives and how important communication is. I would love to give any English tips, better my Spanish, or start a new language!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and share a great conversation! I'm the kind of person that when I am with somebody, I'm with them. I live in the world in front of me. I can share some English tips, my perspective as a Californian native, and a good laugh!
