I moved to the UK in 2016 for a new job, I'm currently working as a visual effects artist in London for feature films.

Before I leave this great part of the world I'm doing a 2month backpacking trip through Europe with some hiking and a lot of photography. I have decided to stay with friends and people throughout Europe because I have had the best experiences when I visit people living in the countries I visit. So far I have has some amazing experiences and I hope to meet new people and learn a lot by staying with more locals rather than other tourists in hostels.

My main goal for this trip is to see some of the most amazing natural landscapes and take my time to experience the outdoors and take wonderful landscape photography. Most my trip will be via bus and interail.

I grew up on a farm in Australia, I'm very country and easy going. I love to laugh, play, experience food and relaxing. Most of all I love meeting new people and getting to see the countries I visit. (I'm a long way from Kansas)

I spent 5 years living in Sydney Australia before moving to the UK almost 2 years ago. I work as a digital artist on blockbuster films such as Avengers, Ghostbusters and MadMax fury road.

Growing up for me was a lot of outdoor living, farm life looking after cattle and working on my father's palm tree farm. We would ride motorbikes and go waterskiing every week. My family loves waterskiing! We are very active that way. I also grew up in a wonderful family we have great character and love to laugh and spend time together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and get the best experience possible from traveling the world. I have stayed with many friends across Europe and I have also traveled in hostels. By far the best times I have had is when new people come into my life and show me their little piece of paradise in the world. I like to do that same for people when they travel to Australia.

Relaxed atmospheres with people who are easy to get along with share a drink or even join in on my adventures are exactly what I'm looking for. To make new friends and share the Couchsurfing experience back to people when they visit Australia, I would love to take you waterskiing.

I love personal development books. comedy and adventure movies. horrors cant do, just not even a thing for me.

I take a lot of interest in the creative industries, CGI, and film. I love content creation and music. My music tastes vary so much. I'm big fan of red hot chili peppers and bloc party, then over to some drum and bass then over to some disco house. Its all good time for me. I have a really big soft spot for rap music. I would love to hear some of your favorite music in your native languages too, that's always fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a building once, like those guys on Instagram, il never do it again but its now off my bucket list. Its the one time I went for it and did some proper urban exploring.

After this last two years, the best thing I have done is live in another country and meet so many amazing people and new friends. I'm keeping this going because it's such a great feeling to welcome new people into my life and to be welcomed into others lives.

language, food, culture, great spots to take photographs, things that are amazing to do that aren't the normal tourist things. Im a simple creature at heart, a good view will make me happy or a simple relaxed and glass of wine. I like to be grateful for the little things in life.
