About Me

Currently taking an extended career break and exploring the world!

My main passion and aim, to desrible it simply is people.

I truly fascianated people and their different viewspoints and cultures. I love meeting new people from different warps of life, listening to peoples stories, learning and discovering new and wondrful things.

My life so far in bullet points ...

- Born 22/08/90 (I was beautiful baby according to my mom)
- Grew up in Wolverhampton, smallish city just outside of Birmingham UK
- Played football from a early age at almost every level
- At 16 years old, become a aprrentice professional footballer for Shrewsbury Town F.C
- 18 years old unfortunately the football dream didn't come true and I started college
- Studied economics, business studies and become fitness instructor before going university
- Studied Sport Business Management at Sheffield University
- From failing my first assignment graduated with First Class Honours in 2012
- 2012 to 2016 worked two main jobs in a graduate programme and logistics company
- 24th October 2016 left the UK and the journey began

Also before embarking on my world tour, I coached the under 14's boys district football team for my city. Which I absolutly loved ! Football played such as huge part of my earlier life, giving me focus, developing my competitve nature, my love for around people and being part of a tema and most importantly keeping me out of trouble especially in the neighbourhood I was brought up in. So the ability to be able to provide the oppportunity to young men in the making from my neighbourhood was one the rewarding things I done.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to CouchSurfing, only discovered it recently whilst travelling from a very good friend I made in Thailand who was telling me about their friends and experiences all over the world.

It's a great opportunity to meet people with totally different backgrounds and different viewpoints than myself. When I meet someone new and interesting I could listen to them speak to hours without blinking.

Also, I can't think of better to truly to discover a city than being told or shown about from someone who lives there, rather than the latest lonely planet edition. (Which in all fairness is an amazing resource)

Music

Mostly everything with a beat I can dance to. I'm the person who randomly starts dancing when I hear somewhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started playing American football in University and in my final year, whilst playing running back rushed for 2012 yards in 8 games.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach
One the biggest takeovers I noticed from the transition from education to professional career. Was just how much education doesn't teach you, and this is something I try to talk about in my blog

Learn
I'm currently attempting to learn Spainish, after travelling and discovering every International person I met spoke at least two languages.

Share
I love sharing my experiences with people in a hope it will inspire to do the same

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share stories, friendship, a listening ear and I'm even learning to share food.

Right now I am not able to host people, unfortunately. On a count of not knowing when I'm going home.

But if there's anyone the city I'm in who can't host but still want to meet up, please send me a message, I'd love to meet.
