About Me

Having an issue with the phone and government ID verification for some reason.
--------
Adventurous spirit, and always spontaneous.
I am quite pleasant from what I have gathered from others.
I have also been told I am very quirky and unique? Not sure exactly what that means.
Jack-of-all trades type, and have a passion to teach.
Hard working and never do any job half-a**ed if I can help it.
Open-minded to learning, as life itself is ebbing and flowing teacher.
Humbling myself and learning to be at peace with my ego.
Father to a wonderful son.
I enjoy all types of foods and drink.
I indulge from time-to-time on fine wine and liquors.
I have a tendency to find hidden bars/pubs/clubs.
I enjoy the expression of fashion.
I have a passion for the freedom of a motorcycle.
If there is anything else, simply ask, you shall receive.

Generally quiet and stick to myself, though I do converse very fluently once engaged.
Logic, analytics, and being literal is my norm, though I strive to make up for that with understanding.
I am practicing empathy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have come to a point in my life where I have explored the U.S. and wish to experience other places and cultures.
I have always wanted to learn as a local rather than a tourist.

I also, unfortunately, have a harsh time where I am unable to see my son for months on end. Rather than allow my spirit to be crushed, I want to fill it with good memories that I can bring back and share with my son.

I want to ultimately share my experience, and find my place in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have such a wide variety of Musical genres it would be hard to list.
I have such a wide array of movies that it would also be hard to list.
Books, I have never quite felt the need to get in to.
I feel that video games are actually the evolutionary step to books as they create whole worlds, characters, musical scores, etc. that you simply can play/experience rather than read.
I have actually read through (6) books in my life though:
- The Giver
- The Hobbit
- Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone
- Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets
- Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban
- Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

I do enjoy the occasional Manga as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to all 50 states many times and lived in 26.

Teach, Learn, Share

I live by these rules:
Teach everything you have learned with no want for anything in return.
Learn all that you can that presents itself to you.
Share what you feel is necessary and within reason.

I can teach Information Technology to anyone who wants to learn. I teach infrastructure and how to be a technician.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I have something of substance or value to you, please inquire about it.
I will likely be able to assist, or learn the basics needed to.

Simply be yourself, and I will as well.
I tend to be very simple.
