Overview
About Me
I'm an optimistic human loves hearing about other people and their stories. I moved to New Orleans in April after having come visit for Mardi Gras 4 years in a row. The city has a wonderful spirit about it that often draws people in - that's exactly what happened to me. I play saxophone and have really enjoyed being around such a rich musical culture as well. I enjoy rock climbing, yoga, and spending time outside. I love to travel and am getting the itch to start doing a bit of it again. In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to host some like-minded individuals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people, share perspectives and experience, and make great connections for future traveling and endeavors. I'm planning to make a leap to Costa Rica in the next few months and thought this might be a fun way to travel when that time comes as well.
Encantaria conocer y tener gente Latinos por Couchsurfing. Quiero practicar el Espanol mio y conocer mas gente de todos lados del mundo. Me encanta el idioma y la cultura de Latino America. Pronto, voy a mudarme a Costa Rica.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most all music. I've recently discovered Kirtan music and have fallen in love with it. Nahko and Medicine For The People and Rebelution are my 2 favorite bands right now. I grew up listening to Neil Young, Tom Petty, and The Beatles - as my dad's from Liverpool. And I'm always down for some reggaeton, bachata, or salsa to get mah feet movin!
The Alchemist and The Power of Now are 2 of my favorite books. I really enjoy spiritual, self-help, or self-discovery books.
Batman Begins is one of my favorite movies. Mainly for the section of the movie where Christian Baile is training to become Batman up in the mountains. I also really like The Newsies! It has Christian Baile in it from when he was a kid. Comdeies are usually my jam, but I'm always down for an animated movie or to binge a series on Netflix.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in Argentina for 4 months and that was pretty amazing for me. I lived with a family that only spoke Spanish and it really helped me to build my confidence and hone my skills with the Spanish language.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel that traveling really opens up my mind and heart to everything that I share my time, space, and experience with. It's a lot of fun for me to see and hear about other perspectives around the world. Come visit me and share your perspectives and life experience!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll be sharing positive and fun times with my guests. I worked in the restaurant industry down here so good food will be on the agenda as well :)
I've also guided meditations for people in the past and would love to share that with anyone who's interested.
