About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Write a book! :):)

ABOUT ME

My hometown is Villahermosa, Tabasco. Southeast of Mexico. really green and pretty, i like it here except maybe for the weather: it is so HOT!! But I live for periods of times at Querétaro, Mexico, right in the center of Mexico. I just started a social enterprise called KIN MX with a friend, we work with Mexican artisans in the making of clothes with traditional Mexican embroidery, which is very cool and we get to really meet this awesome people and they teach us about their lives and more (The women at Chiapas are teaching me to speak tsotsil and I am really really happy for it).

NOW, me... I am an easy going person, people says that I am always happy.. I guess they think that because I like to laugh and I do that a lot. but I am not that hyper kid who is always laughing and sometimes gets annoying. Sometimes I am shy and awkward but other times I can start talking to strangers like they weren't that. It is weird. I guess it depends on the people. I don't like hypocrites and lies. I try to live my life with the golden rule, which is to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated.

What else? I am mexican.. I already say that... oh! I lived in South Korea for 8 months in my exchange year. I love Korean culture, but also my own.

I like to do exercise, running, yoga, I also go to the gym and try to eat healthy although.. It is practically impossible to me to say no to food, specially to desserts. Yummmm

PHILOSOPHY

Last year an old friend died and this make me think about life. When I found out that he passed away the first thing that come in my mind was a question: Was he happy? I mean, Did he had a happy life? and the truth is that I don't think he had. So, I decided to live my life in order that when I die people won't have to question that about me and my life. They will be sure that I had one, one great and happy life. SO, I try not to think to much about the future or getting hold in the past. Do things I want to do and not what I am expected to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about this thanks to my sister (who I love) and well in our apartment in Querétaro we have host many people but when we are in our parents house in the South of Mexico (Villahermosa is the city) we also host. Al thought not to many people come to Villahermosa, Which is sad because I think it is a beautiful place.
I have surf once in Japan with a great guy named Tadashi. He was great and we got to talk about our culture. He of Japan and me of Mexico. We had stay in touch. Also in France and I have awesome couchsurf experiences in Italy (Rome and Eboli).

I LOVE couchsurf because I thing it is a great way to see a city; while you meet the people who live there, and in my experience they usually are really cool and interesting persons.
