ABOUT ME

Well, I am a 34 year old guy that hjas spent most of his life travelling and working in different countries.

I have now decided to go back to my home country for a while and try to settle down...but I am afraid its all going to stay in a trial mode as my itchy feet do not stop itching and I need to constantly be on the move.

Hovwever, for the time being is only short travels, and the prospect of hosting ointernationbal people in my house, its a breath of fresh air in a time of my life where my own travelling is limited.

After growing up in Spain I travel to Australia for a year and decided to study University in the UK where I made my base for a few years, eventually I enede working as a project and expedition leader for a british GAP year compañy in Brazil and I dont know how I have ended up in a serious job in Spain...where I am based at the moment

Live and let live...even if we are not in the same way...we can always agree to disagree and celebrate with a beer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not participated yet so much...howver I have lived with Marc, a Spanish guy who is a devoited couch surfer and I have indirectly hosted a few people. I am also a good friend of a good couchsurfer in Rio and perhaps his influence has made me be here writting all about me and my intentions when I should be doing some work!
I have also devoted all my life to volunteer work and volunteer based organisations so I hope I have a lot to give to the community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Outside the structure of CS, I have never had a problem hosting people in my home or staying at a stranger´s home for a night or 10!

Interests

Buff...depends on the day or even the time of the day...dancing and cooking are probably the most fevourite things in life, I also like to work leather and make bags and puches with it. I am into recycling lately and anything to do with healthy leaving and looking after the environment. We have just built a compost maker in our terrace!!!!
I love travelling, music, reading, laughing, spending time with friends and strangers, getting lost in an unknown city without a map...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music...well I am into electronic music, specially Psy trance, techno and electro house (NO MINIMAL!), but I am also quite eclectic, and depending of the time of the day...you might get very surprised about my music taste!

Thai and Mexican food are my favourite, although good home spanish cooking has no equal (specially if my mum is the cook!)

Best fil I have seen in a while, The Bubble, an Israeli film that has oppened my eyes about the whole situation in that part of the world...and all time favourite...Women at the verge of a nervous breakdown by Almodovar

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing an intership in Florida working with Autistic children and Dolphins for a month was probably the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life...

Also being on the top of a tree in the amazon junbgle and feeling, hearing and seeing a great tropical storm come to me was the most energizing experience!
