About Me
Hi there! As you can probably guess, I love to travel - seeing the world and especially meeting friendly and interesting people. Unfortunately, English is my only language, but I always like collecting phrases from around the world. Nature, environmentalism, music, goats, tea, wine, yum food, and friendly folk all make me happy.
I'm currently living in a shared-house in Melbourne with two wonderful housemates AND four delectable chickens. We are all musicians and avid foodies with a coffee machine at your disposal.
I have been lucky enough to explore some of our beautiful and precious natural landscapes here in Australia as well as in other parts of the world. From this, and from wonderful people around me, I have been inspired to learn about our environment and work with others to protect it. The horrible political situation in Australia at the moment has kept me quite busy on this front recently.
I am super keen on hiking/camping in forests, along rugged coastlines, over mountains, down rivers (usually in a boat) etc, and it'd be a pleasure to show couch surfers some of the magnificent wild places near Melbourne if they are interested :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having got to know such beautiful people and places through couchsurfing across Canada and the UK, I would love to continue to be part of the community.

Music, Movies, and Books
Especially keen on folk music, but certainly not limited to! Artists include various trad Irish bands, the Punch Brothers, Nickel Creek, Beirut, the Beatles, and miscellaneous artists from the Australian folk scene.
I do struggle to remember the names of books and films that I've enjoyed... but there are plenty of them!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
