I was born and raised in Auckland, NZ. I am friendly and pretty chilled out but can also be shy and introverted. Nevertheless I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. There's nothing I enjoy more than sharing stories over a meal or drink with good company.

I'm new to CS but I think it's a fantastic idea way for people from around the world to connect and to share their stories and experiences.

I first heard about it through some friends but I have not used it yet so I currently have no references but I hope that changes soon!

Music: used to listen to a lot of rock but recently listening to a lot more electronic/indie/alternative with a bit of hip hop thrown in for good measure. Partial to cut-up electronic tracks with an experimental/psychedelic/progressive vibe. Favourite band is probably Radiohead (used to be Pink Floyd). Favourite producer at the moment is Jamie xx.

Films: The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I like dramas and art-house films but I'm a sucker for Nolan's recent films.

Unfortunately I have a pitiful attention span and can probably count the number of books I've read in one hand. It's not even that I don't like books! Working to rectify this mental laziness.

Seeking to practice mindfulness, to become better at coping with that constant mind chatter, be more aware and less selfish. Ultimately trying to cultivate a lifestyle where I live for more than just pleasure. I believe pleasure is a necessary component to life but in itself should not become the ultimate goal.
