About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to spend one year year away from the comforts of my country, meet the world and all the amazing people in it, see everything and have a beer or two on the way.

ABOUT ME

Share a beer with me, or a cheap glass of red, and I'll tell you all about it. In brief, I love discovering the world, people and knowledge. I come for the land of Oz, I work in film as a camera assistant and now am taking a year to see what else is out there, so far, found that there is a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn, eat and spread the love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since only being a newbie to CS, haven't done much, but hoping to start hosting when life gets a bit more settled. Also can't wait to join in on some CS events, especially poker.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first with Jerome from Paris, who is an awesome guy, if you get a chance to even just meet him for a coffee and a chat, do it. them hosted Russ the crazy canadian and also an Aussie called Craig, not a couch surfer yet. Previously in Australia, I took in a lot of travellers and showed them the best parts of Melbourne and Victoria, and took the most pleasure from taking to those places only locals know, like super cool bars in backstreets and restaurants where you eat like a king and pay like a pauper.

Interests

Too many... quickly though, film, photography, skateboarding, food, wine, beer, more food, travelling, parkour, writing, hanning out with friends, discovering awesome things to do like treking through the catacombs of Paris, etc....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is are so many, most importantly the people I've met on the journey. I worked on amazing films and I'm lucky enough to work in the film industry which was amazing. I used to take band photos and ended at a lot of gigs for free, back stage and got to meet lots of music stars, mainly Australian ones.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a true passion for all things photographic, whether stills or film. I have studied and practiced both for many years and would be more than happy to pass on what I know. Also after a short obsession with aquariums, I got a pretty good understanding of that too.
