Overview
About Me
Hey there!
My name is Danny, I've been traveling europe for one and a half years and now that I got my own couch to offer, I want to give back to this great system that has helped me out so much while I was on the road.
I'm studying philosophy and science of religion in Bochum.
I love people, meeting them, getting to know them, talking to them, leaving them, remembering them and eventually coming back to them.
That is what makes the world go around, don't ever let them tell you it's papermoney.
Racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, lookism, ageism has to stay out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's the best way to get in contact with people once you're in a new country.
You immediately have at least someone who's local to talk to, to show you around maybe and eventually you might get to know more people through that.
Perfect!
Also now that I have my own couch to offer,I want to give back what people gave me: shelter, good times, good food, laughter and lots of love
Interests
Conversations. I love them. All of them (even the ones that leave you with a bitter taste of discord).
Also music of any kind, give me an instrument and I shall play it. Not necessarily good but I will definitely play it!
I like juggling (balls, diabolo, staff), firebreathing, cooking (vegetarian / vegan), dancing and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I don't want to be slappin' around genres here, I have a wide taste of music and I'm pretty open to most of the genres.
In my home you'll mostly hear reggae, dub and oldschool dubstep.
Movies:
I'm not a big movie guy and there are lots of movies that people consider must-sees that I haven't seen yet (so I'm open to new stuff!) but my favourites so far are:
Fight Club
Human Traffic
SLC Punk
Dogma
Life of Brian
Waking Life
Books:
Everything by Hermann Hesse
Everything by Chuck Palahniuk
Steven King - The Dark Tower
Anything that's thought-provoking and mind-expanding
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ending one of the best festivals ever (Goulash Disco in Croatia) with a massive sunset jam session on the cliffs while seeing dolphins jumping out of the water seemingly listening to our music.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to efficiently loose all your crap on busses. Lost a lot of crap on busses.
Also I can show you some guitar or drumming skills, I can teach you how to breathe fire and give you some cooking advice
I want to learn everything you have to offer. There is no knowledge that is unuseful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, mostly. And music.
As much wisdom as I have stored in my brain and hopefully lots of laughter and love.
