About Me

I am from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala also called Xela or Xelaju I have been to the states a couple of extended times studying and in a work and travel program..... I am a very friendly and funny person. People say I´m always laughing and that my laugh is loud and contagious.

I love nature and the outdoors, having a good time with friends and enjoying the good things in life.

I am also a dog person the owner of an "electico" called Denzel W.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to travel and meet new people and get to know their cultures by not being just a normal tourist but get deep in the culture. My favorite part of a place it is food as I love trying out new flavors and dishes (nothing too crazy).

Interests

I enjoy technology I believe there is an app for anything now days. I am family oriented and if you know me I am always listening to music. I also like dancing hip hop. right now I am really into digital marketing and accupunture

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that leave a message afterwards, some of the ones that I have enjoyed the most are: Slum dog millionaire, Crash, Grand Torino and a Guatemalan movie called "Estrellas de la Linea" about prostitution in Guatemala.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have driven from Guatemala to Nicaragua, I have climbed a couple of volcanoes, I have met a couple of famous people

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn meditation and be able to escape time, if somebody is willing to teach me I am up to that. I would like to learn surfing, natural medicine, cooking vegetarian foo. I guess I can teach my native language "Español" and things about my culture. maybe a bit of technology stuff too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In my opinion one of the most amazing things I have done is getting my college degree as I am one of the first members of my family to be able to get it I have also studied in New York. and one of the most amazing things that I have seen and see every time in Guatemala is the laugh of the children that no matter their economic status always have a smile to share.
