CURRENT MISSION
Feeling the sunshine in San Diego!
ABOUT ME
Hey fellow Couch Surfers! My boyfriend Greg and I are now sharing my couchsurfing account so we can surf and host together (as a couple living together). We live in San Diego and love sharing traveling experiences with others and meeting new folks. We both work in the Biotech field and I am a yoga teacher as well.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in the basic laws of humanity. Kindness and honesty above all. Live your life, and don't let anyone hold you back from your dreams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the past I've given up my couch for visitors, but for now we're up for meeting travellers for a drink. We currently have a roommate in our 2nd bedroom, but when it opens up again we'll try to host more surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only had 2 couch surfers stay at my house (back when I lived in Eau Claire, WI). I was very surprised to learn that people actually wanted to go through Eau Claire, or visit it for that matter. It's a good thing too, because the town is wonderful and has so much to offer. I really enjoyed my last experience with couch surfing because she was generally excited to be shown around and interested in the 'culture' we've developed. It's a great thing, meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all types of music, mainly classic rock, alt-rock, 'indie,' jazz, classical.
We love films...mainly comedies.
We like books! Lots of kinds, ask us!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life was when I was backpacking in Utah...we slept under the stars the first night we got there, but were so tired from the 25 hour drive we fell asleep before it was completely dark. I remember waking up at some point later in the night and seeing a billion stars. It was breath taking. It seriously doesn't get better than that.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cook a meal with a surfer--it's a good experience to share different cooking tips and cuisines.
Show them around if they have time, it's generally a worthy experience.
Share stories!! Stories are great!
