About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Walking across Germany, from Rhineland-Westphalia to the Black Forest.
ABOUT ME
I'm a design-driver creative director from New Zealand who has been living in Berlin for the last five years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In 1942, my grandfather escaped from a POW camp in Warburg, Germany. He spent the next 17 days on the run in an attempt to reach freedom in Switzerland. Traveling only at night, and with limited food and clothing, him and his friend walked 450km over 17 arduous days before their eventual re-capture in the Black Forest. I'm here because I'm retracing my gradfather's footsteps, attempting to walk the same route he took in the same amount of time. I'm interested in meeting as many local people along the way as possible!
