After meeting international students, I now want to meet international people and experience a taste of international life

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing and vibrant individual! I've got a bit of a weird sense of humour but who hasn't!? I don't find it hard to make friends and find myself meeting people randomly all the time which is great! I'm open minded and pretty laid back, I can always see two sides to every story so I'm considerate and easy to get along with. I generally enjoy my own company but like to have fun people to do stuff with.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in karma, what goes around comes around so we should treat people the way we want to be treated. I know that whenever I've acted mean to someone (which is not too often I promise) I've always regretted it. I don't believe in being judgmental. Some of my closest friends have done things I might disapprove of but it doesnt make them bad people, everyone is entitled to do what makes them happy so I try not to think too deeply about what others think about me. I know that for every person that disagrees there will be another who see's things from my opinion too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was on exchange in the US and travelled the coast of California before going home after xmas. My roommate told me about this site. Her brother has people stay in Paris all the time and it sounded a lot more fun than staying in hostels so I thought I would join up and hope for the best! I love to meet new people and being in the US lead me to meet people from all over the world. I'd hate to think that experience will ever stop.

Interests

I study drama and literature so I love theatre, movies and reading books. I also love dancing and I'm always up for a laugh and love to party hard with my friends...I'm part of a cheerleading squad called the Essex Flames. We work very hard to get ourselves to competition where we generally do very well. If I'm bored at home I'll crank the music up and get dancing in front of the mirror too, love it!

Learning wise, I'm open-minded and up for anything! Think I could teach a thing or two about the concept of English banter, something I've missed while being away from home, as well as the slang words!
