CURRENT MISSION

Pursuing Master of Arts in Process Oriented Facilitation and Conflict Studies; seeking a place to stay in Portland during my residencies.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Masters student studying at the Process Work Institute in Portland. I'm interested in better understanding conflicts as opportunities to transform and evolve a community, and am working to assist individuals, communities, and organizations in viewing conflict as such an opportunity.

I'm also a: partner, auntie, sister, daughter, philosopher, martial artist, sci-fi nerd.

APPROACH TO LIFE

I am the type to make plans, but always remain open to changing them entirely. I like spontaneity.

I prefer waking up with the sun, and seeing the stars and moon at night. I love being surrounded in nature, but I also enjoy exploring cities and their hidden pockets of magic.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy travelling to other places and visiting with locals who live there to learn more about their favourite parts of their city/town/village.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had some wonderful times in Morocco couch surfing, making some great memories and great friends. One friend I met on couch surfing ended up going on her first-ever hitchhiking experience with me, skipping out on work! We went to the desert together, and it was a lot of fun.

Interests

-Soulful, "heartful" conversation. On Being Podcasts, for example.
-Food: making it, eating it, sharing it
-Movement, in general. Through dance, martial arts, and anything to do with physical literacy.
-Nature: I love the starry sky, being in or around the ocean, rivers, trees, mountains, glacier-crossing, and smelling flowers. I also love to get my hands in the dirt and garden.
