Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great way to meet new people; much more personal than using hotels/B&Bs! Want to practice the languages of countries I visit, no better way to do it than spending time with the locals.

I tend to enjoy most things, though I'm really into my Classic Rock when it comes to music. Everything from Led Zeppelin and The Who to Paul Simon and Jackon Browne.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whilst in South Africa, I saved a turtle from being run over. By my own car. Covered by dust, he was well camoflaged; I was able to stop the car just inches from his shell before getting out and shifting him to the side of the road. As I was moving him off the road, he peed on me to express his gratitude.
