About Me

I grew up outside of Boston, but I now live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan with a job in the TV industry. In addition to my interest in TV, I love linguistics (especially phonetics), accents, and learning languages, as well as learning about the cultural differences of people from all around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that life is too short to just stay in one place. Traveling is one of the best ways to expand your mind. It can sometimes be lonely to travel on your own, so that's why I love to meet up with locals who can give me a deeper understanding of a place- instead of just walking around alone doing touristy things. If you feel the same way, then we should meet up!

I began on Couchsurfing back in 2011, when I stayed in Marseille, Paris, and London, I met up with other travelers as well as locals. Now I actually live in a place where people like to travel to, so I'm hoping to meet up with others and show them around the city! I unfortunately do not have a couch to offer, though I'd like to eventually.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. I'll just say that I love funk, jazz, and classic rock, as well as science fiction and comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As of now, it is Yellowstone National Park. Really an amazing place to visit, with mind-blowing displays of nature at every turn.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a fair amount about the history of television and how TV works, and am pretty good when it comes to troubleshooting computer problems.

I'm also very interested in phonetics, so if we ever get into a discussion about languages or accents, I'll probably delve real deep into it if you let me. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland
