About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Everyday do something I enjoy.
ABOUT ME
I like couchsurfing for the same reasons that I like hitchhiking. For the People value and not the $ value. Yes I own a bus and I am hitchhiking, yes I could afford a hostel but I am couchsurfing.
I had no control over when and where I was born. Although I was somewhat surprised by the experience I apparently still managed to pop out fat and happy. I have no idea when and where I will die. I dont mind that I have very little control over that either. I do know that the moments in between these two personally important but otherwise mainly uninteresting events is mine and I intend to enjoy them. I love actively living my life with my hands on the reins and not letting these precious moments slip by whilst distracted by TV or cheese. People good and bad add colour to our lives and those interactions can make shitty situations bearable, otherwise great situations pretty shitty but best of all good situations great.
One day I want to run a backpackers where musicians from all over the world come together and jam in the sun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted some couchsurfers in our flat in Dunedin and made sure they had an awesome time. I have travelled around the country with travellers who stopped by and convinced me to join them. I often spread the good word of the couch surfing gospel and have spread the community to even include my parents.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted dozens of amazing CS in our flat in Dunedin and rallied a few CS host meetings. I havent yet stayed with any CS host but am looking forward to it. I really think that there is more to CS than cheap accomodation and really look forward to meeting some more amazing people on my travels.
