About Me

We are Delmiro (Ñato) and Dante (Dino) Cabana, father and son, both brought up in the chacoan Impenetrable, a land full of history, secrets and adventure.
Through our field, by the Bermejito riverside, there walk a lot of wild animals such as tapirs, giant anteaters, wild pigs (peccaries), monkeys and beautiful cats, among many others, leaving theur footprints on the soil and their images in our eyes.
The plants of chacoan forest save behind their spines valuable secrets that we have discovered throughout many generations and which we make use.
Since few years ago we are trying to show and bring to the light this place to everyone who wants to experience de adventure of gerting into this labyrint full of wild life. We are awaiting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We enjoy meeting people from everywhere, we love they visit us and keep a great remind of the Impenetrable. This place has a great natural richness, with trees and animals that are in risk of becoming exctinct if they remain ignored. We believe that bringing them to people's knowledge rises their touristic value and by doing this we are protecting them forever

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our camping site is located 60 km away from Miraflores town.
We offer a wild experience, disconnected for a while from the city reality and enjoying nature.
We offer a camping zone by the Bermejito riverside (with more privacy) but also another camping zone beside our home.
We offer as well homemade food and guided walking circuits through the forest either during day or night.
We are trying to start developing a small touristic enterprise, and therefore we plan to charge for our services. However, you can be sure that prices are very cheap and we arrange them with each visitor. Please let us know you read this when asking for staying with us. You can write something like "I have read and want to talk about prices".
2 km from our home there is the gate to enter to El Impenetrable National Park, where you can also do some walking circuits. There you can find a small store for xood and drinks and a small first aids center.
