About Me
Hi I'm Dante, Im 21 years old and I live in Bogotá, Colombia, a very vibrant city. I am currently a mathematics student at the National University of my country. The reason why I study mathematics is because I think it is the best way to use my lifetime. Mathematics offers you another way of seeing the world, another way of knowing and interpreting reality, it has a much more philosophical aspect than it seems. I like to read a lot about physics, I marvel at the perfect structure and the great harmony of nature. I really like to read the stories of Gabriel García Marquez (my country's Nobel Prize in Literature), I especially recommend "El rastro de tu sangre en la nieve" (The trail of your blood in the snow). I like movies, I love ice cream, and I enjoy walking. I find peace and respect invaluable. I like to think...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I'm going to travel to Germany (study trip) and it's my first time abroad, so I'm looking for a different option that allows me to get to know the places I'm going. I think knowing the people is the best way to know a place. My sister has used this platform and recommended it to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I really recommend "100 años de soledad" by García Marquez, "El aleph" by Borges, "Das Parfum, die Geschichte eines Mörders" by Patrick Süskind and "El rastro de tu sangre en la nieve" by García Marquez
Movies: My favorite movie "The arrival" directed by Denis Villeneuve and in my opinion one of the best movies ever
Music: My musical taste is very varied, lately I have dabbled in electronic music and classical music, two musical styles, quite opposite at first glance, but in the end share more than it seems.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have read many books, I think it is quite incredible. I'm currently investigating quantum physics and quantum computing
